Cable on the move!
We recently completed the transfer of a full load of cable from TKF Cable factory Eemshaven to the Cable transport vessel BBC Topaz on behalf of leading offshore wind farm developer Ørsted.
The vessel has arrived in Taiwan and is currently discharging cables at our storage yard in Taichung port.
Our scope of work in the project is comprehensive, covering mobilization of cable tanks, transfer of cable in Eemshaven, arranging the shipment for both cables and spare cable storage baskets, cable transfer at Taichung and providing intermediate storage until arrival of the cable lay vessel. At that point, the cables will be installed at Greater Changhua 2b and 4 offshore wind farms in the Taiwan Strait.
